Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026 · Applies to the “Social Psychology — A Complete Guide” prototype.

⚠️ This is a Beta prototype, not released to the general public. Access is limited. It has been tested for functionality, accessibility, and content accuracy, but bugs and errors may still exist, and both content and this policy may change. This document is a generic template provided for the prototype and is not legal advice.

Terms of Use

1. What this is

This site is an independent, educational study resource about social psychology. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any university, publisher, or academic institution. It is intended as a supplementary study aid only.

2. Content accuracy

Content was researched and drafted with substantial help from AI tools and has not been peer-reviewed by a subject-matter expert. Treat it as a study aid and verify anything important against other trusted sources. If you are using this as part of a class, it does not replace your instructor’s materials, syllabus, or grading requirements.

3. The AI assistant

This site includes an AI assistant. It is a chatbot — not a person and not a licensed instructor — and it can be wrong or incomplete. It is meant to stay on social psychology topics, but that is a soft guideline given to it, not a hard content filter. Do not rely on it for professional, medical, legal, or academic advice.

4. Acceptable use

5. Intellectual property

The text, structure, and design of this guide are the property of the author. This content may not be republished or redistributed without permission.

6. No warranty & limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.

7. Changes

These terms and the site’s content may be updated at any time during the beta. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Report an issue

Found a bug, broken link, or something that doesn’t work as expected? Report it to matthew.grunewald@agileaddie.com.

Privacy Policy

What is stored on your device

To remember your place, the site saves a small amount of data locally in your browser (via localStorage) — for example, which topics, concepts, and sections you’ve opened, your sound preference, and whether you’ve seen the intro and this notice. This data stays on your device, is not tied to an account, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

The AI assistant

When you send a message to the AI assistant, your message and the recent conversation are transmitted to an AI provider in order to generate a response. Please do not enter personal, sensitive, or confidential information into the chat. Chat history is held only in your current browser session and is not saved to your device between visits.

Analytics & cookies

This prototype does not set advertising cookies and does not sell your data. Any storage used is functional (the on-device progress described above).

Children

This site is intended for a general, post-secondary study audience and is not directed at children under 13.
